Local SEO for hair salons

Salon marketing that brings the right guests to your chair

Your best clients pay for skill: a soft, lived-in balayage, a color correction done properly, extensions nobody can spot. We help upscale salons across Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia and the Main Line show that work on Google, so new guests can find you, choose a stylist and book online.

Searches we target
  • balayage yardley
  • bridal hair doylestown
  • hair extensions main line
  • color correction salon near me
  • keratin treatment newtown pa

Examples. Your audit shows the searches that matter in the towns you serve.

Why hair salons call us

Fill premium appointments with guests who book by stylist, not by price.

What owners tell us

  • Our color work looks gorgeous on Instagram, but when someone nearby searches "balayage near me" on Google, they get the discount chain down the road instead of us.
  • People call to ask what a full head of extensions costs, then never book, because our website has no prices, no photos and no way to pick a stylist.
  • Our reviews say "lovely salon" and stop there. They rarely name the stylist or the service, so a bride or a color client can't tell who to book.

What we do about it

  • A Google Business Profile built around your premium work: balayage, color correction, extensions, keratin smoothing and bridal styling, each listed with its own description and starting price.
  • A fast website with a page for every stylist and every signature service, real before-and-after photos, and a Book button that drops guests straight into your booking software.
  • A review routine that asks every guest after their visit and invites them to mention their stylist and what they had done, so the next client reads about the exact result they want.

Google Business Profile

Your profile, set up for hair salons.

Your Google profile decides whether you show on the map. This is where we start.

  • Categories

    • Hair salon
    • Hair extension technician
    • Beauty salon
    • Make-up artist
  • Services we list

    • Balayage and dimensional color
    • Color correction
    • Hair extensions: tape-in, hand-tied and fusion
    • Keratin and smoothing treatments
    • Bridal and event styling
    • Precision cuts and blowouts
  • Post ideas

    • This week's before-and-after, with the stylist's name and the technique behind it
    • Wedding season dates: how early to book a bridal trial and day-of styling
    • A new stylist joins the team: their specialty, a few looks and how to book them
    • Extension care reminder: when to come back for a move-up appointment
  • Reviews

A short request goes out after each appointment and invites the guest to name their stylist and the service they had. Every guest gets the same ask, nobody is offered a discount or freebie for a review, and we draft warm, personal replies for you to approve.

Your website

A salon website that shows the work and books the chair

A new guest wants to see real results and know exactly who will do them before committing to a three-hour color appointment. We build portfolios by service and by stylist, explain your consultation process and price ranges, and connect every Book button to the software you already use. Pages load quickly on a phone, since that is where guests scroll through your work.

Hair salons FAQ

Questions owners ask us.

Should each stylist have their own Google Business Profile?

Sometimes. Google's rules for individual practitioners allow a public-facing stylist who can be booked directly at your location to have a separate profile, while the salon keeps its own. That splits your reviews and gets messy when someone moves on, so most salons do better with one strong salon profile and a page per stylist on the website. We'll weigh it up with you.

Can new clients book an appointment right from Google?

Yes, if your booking software is one of Google's booking partners. We connect it in the Bookings section of your profile, which can take up to a week to appear, then check that services and stylists show correctly. If your software isn't a partner, we add your own booking link instead. Ask your provider whether it charges a fee for bookings made through Google.

Instagram already brings us clients. Why does Google matter?

Instagram is where people fall for your work and follow your stylists. Google is where someone new types "hair extensions near me" and picks a salon that week. We reuse your best photos and captions on your Google profile, so the effort you already put into Instagram counts twice.

Won't showing prices put off premium clients?

Starting prices tend to help. A guest planning extensions or a big color change wants a rough range before a consultation, and a clear "from" price quietly filters out bargain hunters. We word it so your consultation still sets the final quote.

We're on the Main Line, not in Bucks County. Can you still help?

Yes. We're based in Holland, PA and work with salons across Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia and the Main Line. Everything happens remotely and by phone, so you never have to step away from a client to meet with us.
