Local SEO for contractors

SEO for contractors whose best work is stuck on a phone.

Kitchens, baths, basements, additions: homeowners spend weeks deciding who gets those jobs, and much of that deciding happens on Google. They study photos, read reviews, check that you're registered and look for work you've done in their town. We put your best projects where they're searching, for general contractors and home remodelers across Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia and the Main Line.

Searches we target
  • kitchen remodeling near me
  • bathroom remodel newtown pa
  • basement finishing montgomery county
  • general contractor near me
  • home addition contractor blue bell

Examples. Your audit shows the searches that matter in the towns you serve.

Why contractors call us

Win the kitchen and bath jobs before homeowners call three other bids.

What owners tell us

  • Homeowners pick whoever has the best photos and the most reviews.
  • Our best projects live on a phone, not on our website.
  • Big franchises and lead sites crowd us out of every search that matters.

What we do about it

  • Project pages by room and town, with real before-and-after photos
  • Review requests sent once the final walkthrough is signed off
  • Service pages for kitchens, baths, basements and additions

  • Reviews

The request goes out after the final walkthrough, with a gentle prompt to mention the room and the town, because those details help the next homeowner decide. We ask every client and never trade anything for a review.

Your website

Project pages that do the selling for you

Each finished job becomes a page: the room, the town, what the homeowner wanted, what you built and the photos to prove it. Service pages for kitchens, baths, basements and additions link to those projects, so a family in Doylestown can see work near them. Your PA home improvement registration number goes on every page, along with your Philadelphia contractor license if you work in the city.

Contractors FAQ

Questions owners ask us.

How much does SEO for contractors cost, and how fast does it pay off?

It's a monthly plan, and the free audit shows which level fits before you commit to anything. Remodeling jobs are large, so one extra kitchen in a season can cover a lot of months. Expect a few months before steady movement, since project pages and reviews build on each other over time.

Do I need to be registered to advertise in Pennsylvania?

If you do home improvement work on Pennsylvania homes and bring in $5,000 or more a year from it, you generally need to register with the Attorney General, and the PA number has to appear on your ads, estimates and contracts. That includes your website and your Google posts. New home construction and commercial work fall outside that law, though other licenses can apply, such as Philadelphia's contractor license.

Should I pay for Local Services Ads?

Maybe, for some services. Local Services Ads charge per lead and appear at the top with a Google Verified badge once Google has checked your business, license and insurance. For a remodeler, the real question is how many of those leads turn into signed projects. Your profile, the map pack and your project pages bring in homeowners who have already seen your work, and those first calls tend to go more smoothly.

I'm a general contractor and a remodeler. Which Google category do I pick?

Choose the primary category that matches most of your revenue, then add others as secondary categories, like Kitchen remodeler or Bathroom remodeler, only for work you really take on. The website backs those up with a page for each service. Part of the audit is looking at which categories your nearest competitors use.

I don't have a showroom. Does that hurt?

No. Lots of contractors run from home or a yard, and Google lets you hide the address and list a service area instead. What matters more is proof: project photos tagged by town, reviews that describe the work and a site that shows you've already built something in their neighborhood.
